Sony and Tordivel joint venture

Sony has a complete range of high quality Digital Machine Vision cameras with Firewire - IEEE 1394 - interfaces. Scorpion Vision Software is the most powerful non-programming pc based tool for making robust and reliable multi camera machine vision systems.

 

Scorpion Vision Software supports the complete range of Sony cameras with advanced features like hardware trigging, raw colour formats, dynamic shutter and direct register access.

 

Sony and Tordivel will together promote and market a Machine Vision Starter Kit in Europe consisting of a Sony XCD 710 camera, the Scorpion Vision Software Enterprise edition and a two days introduction course. This bundle will give end users and system integrators an efficient and unique starting point to digital machine vision

Scorpion Vision Software is an open and independent machine vision system tool offering "Twice the performance - Half the price". The system gives the production engineers the ease of use of a vision-sensor and still the flexibility and power of a custom vision-pc system. The system is founded on top of a standard Windows 2000 / XP PC platform benefitting from the ever increasing processing power of the Intel processors and low cost - high quality firewire cameras.

 

Tordivel's business areas are development and global distribution and support of Scorpion Vision Software, cost effective vision solutions in Norway and Sweden and development of low cost OEM vision solutions.
