Announcing Scorpion Vision Software 8.0 

The next major release is scheduled for delivery on January the 20th and will include the official launch of the next generation of 3D Machine Vision Tools. 

3D Located ObjectsWith a focus on 3D bin picking, Scorpion 8 confirms it's position as the number one machine vision software with advanced algorithms for more complex object location and identification. Read more in Press Release. 

A truly feature packed release, Scorpion 8 also offers:

  • Calibrator3D  which drammaticaly improves the flexibility and accuracy of 3D calibration
  • MonoPose3D  for locating objects in 3D with a single camera
  • 3DMaMa for locating multiple objects, identified using a standard CAD model
  • Circle Segmentor for fast location of occluded objects
  • Enhanced camera support including support for multiple cameras in a single profile - combine linescan, areascan, Firewire and Gigabit Ethernet in one system

The next sheduled training course covering Scorpion Vision 8.0 will run on the 26th and 27th January 2010 at Tordivel HQ in Oslo.
